@BritishGasHelp I’ve been chasing the refund of the credit balance on my closed business (BG Lite) account since March.Had several web chats & also raised a complaint but each time I’m told that I’ll get an update by a future date. Which never happens. How can this be resolved?

@HMRCcustomers I transferred my sole trade to a partnership on 6th April 2026 (last sole trade day was 5.4.26). Should I tick the "yes" box 7q on my 25/26 tax return self employment page? i.e. is this considered a cessation?
