For me, it’s important to have something active outside of work, and snowboarding is the best of all worlds—it’s fun, it’s outdoors, and the views are incredible.
At school, I had a huge fear of maths, and my primary school teacher berated me for it—which honestly still makes me nervous about numbers. But I persevered!
For someone who shied away from dealing with numbers, I went on to become a teacher and later started my own business.

Yes, we’re all business owners, but it’s not quite like The Apprentice paints it to be. People genuinely want to give advice, collaborate, and cheer each other on.
