If you believe grace is removed and works and the law returns then that is incredible blasphemy and you believe He didn’t due once and for all. That would then mean He would have to come again to due under the law again to redeem those from the law again.
But He said it is finished. The old covenant was a covenant with death (spiritual) and this passed away with the destruction of the temple as per Hebrews 8 & 9.
Jesus said wrath was coming upon His generation. Peter said in acts the prophecy of the Joel about the last days had just come to pass.
Peter said they were in the last days again in 1 Peter.
John said they were in the last hour.
Matthew, mark, Luke said He was near, was night, at the door.
Jesus said John would still be alive at His coming.
The author of Hebrews said they were in the last days.
Daniel was told to seal the book cuz the time was not at hand but John writing revelation was told not to seal the book, cuz the time was at hand….
And John said in revelation in the 1st century that he was writing about things that would soon come to pass.
The last days of the old covenant age was 31-70Ad.
The great trib was 67-70Ad the great Roman Jewish war.
Ephesians 3:21 & Ecc1:4 state the physical world never ends. Ever.
Yet Matthew etc talks about the end of the world.
Contradiction huh!? Well, no. Because the word used was age. AION. Not kosmos or erets meaning physical earth.

All prophecy had come to pass and the book ended by 70Ad.

These facts simply can’t be refuted unless you do absolutely insane mental gymnastics and ignore scripture.
