Last Thursday we picketed Tetlow's reception at the Penn Club to alert Fordham alumni and families that the university has decreased spending on instruction, research, and academic support by $15 million and increased spending on administration by $13 million

Fordham's bargaining team continues to insist that we are not underpaid, this week calling us "kids who made a wish list with no hardcore data." Here's some data:

The 4 people sitting across from us in bargaining are paid over $1.5 million, or as much as 50 grad workers combined

Today FGSW members stood together with our bargaining committee to deliver our unity pledge to President Tetlow's office. We formed our union in 2022 with overwhelming support, and our pledge affirms that we're motivated to continue the fight for a fair contract

At $60,335 per year, Fordham already has one of the highest sticker prices in the country *before* factoring in proposed tuition raises for '24-25. You wouldn't know it though based on FGSW wages, which lag well behind peer institutions

@RRowanOlive If it's a panic attack I straight up hold my breath until I have control over my thoughts. But I've also found counting or reciting the ABCs works in lesser situations as well. If it's anxiety regarding intrusive thoughts I have a specific visualization to use.
