It’s time to kill the console, Xbox. If this is what console gaming looks like going forward, count me out.

Man it sucks to see Xbox become just a fucking shell of its former self. These potential layoffs are brutal, and we really need to do better by the wonderful people who make the games we love.

[Jordan Oliver @MindscapeRuin]

@klobrille If only there was a good way to spin off all the studios from Microsoft and let them do what they do best without corporate bullshit. Alas, a lot of them still need the backing financially. Hopefully Microsoft just starts selling them off to places where they will thrive.

Yeah, these Xbox price increases are lame. For a console maker that is already not selling too many consoles, this will slow it down even more, maybe to a halt. They really need to just stop at this point. Sad to see...

@The_CrapGamer Oh no doubt. Obsidian may be the only one that could pull it off. I mean to be honest it’s not like they would get to leave with any of the IP they brought with them. So really I guess they signed their own death warrants. Sad.

SCREAMING, CRYING, THROWING UP.

@The_CrapGamer Bought into every single one. Moved away from every single one too, I once I figured out they won’t support it the way it needs to be to survive the market.

[Jordan Oliver @MindscapeRuin]

@The_CrapGamer I know the cost of development is rising to a point where bringing games to PC makes sense, but it feels wrong to have these games go to another console. No one should expect Playstation or Nintendo to do the same, at least not in the short term. Ultimately, best experience is PC
