Your Jewish friends and neighbors are tired.
Sometimes we just want you to understand why our community and our synagogues being repeatedly attacked is frightening, without explaining it away because of the Mideast or comparing it to other forms of hate.
In the last few years we've seen:
- The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer
- The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC
- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
- Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk
Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.
The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

Just days after an antisemitic attack in DC, there was another attack this evening in Colorado.
Ariel and I are praying for the victims, and we continue to stand against hate and terror in this country.
My heart breaks for the victims of the terror attack in Colorado today—a horrific act of violence against the Jewish community in Boulder on the eve of the holy holiday of Shavuot.
Jewish communities across the country are facing a disturbing increase in antisemitic attacks. We must raise our voices together to condemn antisemitism and violence in every form.
The reports out of Colorado are horrific — a clear act of Domestic Terrorism against the Jewish community that demands swift and unequivocal condemnation.
This was a direct assault on free speech, religious freedom, and the right to assemble, which are foundations of our democracy. Those responsible must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
We’re praying for the Jewish community in Colorado and across the country. There is no place for antisemitism or politically motivated violence in our society — and we will never stay silent in the face of hate.
Georgia needs more childcare so we can remain the best state to live, work, play, and pray. Today, we joined baby Noah and childcare advocates including @StricklandforGA, @mdubnik and our partner @GEEARS to say #GANEEDSCHILDCARE. #GAPOL
Child care is expensive for families and many early educators are underpaid. Both of these issues could be rectified with a meaningful investment in the Child Care and Parent Services (CAPS) program. @AuforGA@GeorgiaRecorder@ReporterRossW $500 per household won’t solve our child care crisis. There are better ways to invest this surplus that will help Georgia families, Georgia businesses and Georgia’s economy.
Are you a child care provider operating in @CityofAtlanta and impacted by the recent water crisis? Invest Atlanta, the group tasked with facilitating the Small Business Recovery Grants introduced by @andreforatlanta has released some initial information. (1/3)

@RichforGA As Congress is making important decisions about Appropriations this week, please protect and prioritize funding for child care and early learning programs. Families, employers, and young children in our district are counting on you!
