@estherzelda0514 I think you might be underestimating the similar patterns of gay rights backlash and trans rights backlash.There very much was a campaign that gay people were trying to normalize being gay in the media and in public to influence children(they can't reproduce so they must recruit)

@faultnourczars @yesvatore I feel the same, with dysmorphia if it’s not one thing, it would be a limitless amount of other things, while dysphoria is more direct and fixable. To me it’s like comparing body dysmorphia to not like a large benign cyst being on you, it’s apples to oranges

If somebody said to me that I could magically get rid of my dysphoria by convincing myself that my physical features from my incorrect puberty were ok to have, that just sounds like conversion therapy

For the longest time, anti-trans organizations and people said that trans youth should be banned from youth transition because they detransition.

They've ENTIRELY moved the goalpost with the new study showing trans kids stay trans.

Now it's "Trans people are ghoulish/deluded."
