Who are you to comment on the laws passed by our province? You are an unelected individual who has never contested an election or earned a mandate from the people. You have entered politics with the backing of the establishment rather than through the democratic process.
Before commenting on provincial legislation, you should first study the Constitution and the law. Set aside the provincial Act concerning parliamentary privileges for a moment and (read Rule 3) and (Rule 106 ) of the National Assemblys Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business. You will realize that these privileges are not a new invention. they have long been part of parliamentary rules and traditions and are also enjoyed by members of the National Assembly.
Instead of selectively criticizing the privileges of elected representatives, why dont you speak about those who have secured lifetime immunity ? Do they consider themselves above the Constitution and the law ?
Do they believe they are above the 250 million people of Pakistan ? Do they consider themselves accountable to the Constitution and the law ?
As political workers we will continue to defend parliamentary supremacy, the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law. No individual or institution should be above the Constitution......

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister H.E. Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar today held a telephonic conversation with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, H.E. Sergey Lavrov.

The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and cooperation at multilateral fora in support of international peace & security.

FM Lavrov appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States.

DPM/FM underscored Pakistan’s resolve to continue contributing to efforts aimed at promoting dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all issues.

Reiterating the importance of maintaining regular high-level engagements, they discussed rescheduling of the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Russia at an early mutually convenient date. DPM/FM also extended an invitation to FM Lavrov to visit Pakistan.

Both sides agreed to remain in touch.
