@emboldenedpoise She smiled at that, not wanting her daddy to be left out while stuck at work.

“Hey momma,” Her head tilted, feet swinging around. “Do you think I could stay little forevers?”

Snuggling in close against her mother’s chest, sighing contently. “So cold, momma.” She said, shivering from playing outside most the afternoon.

She giggled at him seeming shocked. A nod given at the reminder to not binge on all the candy she’d scored tonight.

“Momma said only five pieces tonight. So I picked the bestest ones!”

[John Munch @SargeMunch]

He acted shocked to hear about how much she got, including the glow sticks just to kettle thrill of Halloween alive.

“You did? You’re so lucky! Don’t eat it all at once or it’ll make you poorly.”

She removed her little scarecrow hat and settled against him. A lollipop between her lips.

“Mhm, I got a whole pillowcase full of candy — and someone even gave out glow sticks!”

[John Munch @SargeMunch]

@minicalamity “Thank you, V. Did you have a good Halloween?”

John picked up the young girl and sat her on his knee.

Trick or treat!

@SargeMunch Despite only being given it on his terms, Vera waved the drumstick around triumphantly as though she'd won it.

"Scary movie?" Her head tilted with interest clearly peaked.

Holding up a water gun, aimed perfectly at his chest.

"Where's my chicken leg, @SargeMunch?"

[— 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐚. @minicalamity]

@SargeMunch She followed him closely, fully anticipating some sort of trick. Her guard only being dropped upon catching sight of the chicken.

"Hey!" Vera huffed at being disarmed, lips forming into the perfect pout. "That wasn't fair, Uncle Munch!"

Curling up within @emboldenedpoise's lap, little fingers immediately finding and fidgeting with her mother's necklace— just as she's done since infancy.
