We just open-sourced MCode Stack: the actual workflows and skills the MiniMax Code team uses every day to build MiniMax Code.

AI has evolved from chatbots to workflows to agents, and coding is where agents first proved themselves. Our PM @HanZJ_AIPM puts it down to one thing:
software development rests on a unified foundation of Bash and code, which is precisely where agents excel.

Fields such as chip design, industrial design, and investment research share a similar way of working with programming. Yet in these fields, agents still have to build on a patchwork of fragmented SaaS tools and MCP servers.

Our answer is to make the agent a system-level service that unifies context and tool protocols at the foundation. On top of it, each industry’s professional workbench can grow as a Mini App within a single Agent OS.

@ItsmeAjayKV @DeepSeekHarness Thanks for flagging! Mind DMing us the bugs you hit? We’ll get them sorted.

Each step lays the groundwork for the next.
If your tool catalog is a mess, tool search won't find things
if tool search isn't solid, PTC will struggle too. Don't try to do it all at once. Go bottleneck by bottleneck, and measure at every step. https://t.co/W1j3ZwBntX

[RonnyHe @Ronny_MiniMax]

Models are still getting better fast, and an architecture that makes sense today may not in a few months. More worth remembering than any particular structure is the principle: measure first, change one thing at a time, keep what survives testing. https://t.co/eTDmng1XI7

Mini Apps are now an open standard in MiniMax Code: a port, an Agent, a data directory. You describe the tool, the Agent builds it.

MiniMax Code now works with PowerContext by @OceanBaseDB

Your agent remembers project decisions with their sources, and hands off unfinished work so you can pick it up in one click, whether that's tomorrow, in a new session, or by a teammate.

💰Redefining the performance economics of agentic AI. M3.1 Flash achieves frontier-level intelligence across key tasks such as Cowork (Automation-Bench: 62%; ALE: 30%), Coding (DeepSWE: 74%) and Visual Reasoning (BabyVision: 91%), at 1/3 the cost of M3 and 3x the speed.

API pricing (flat rate): $0.15 / $0.60 per 1M input/output tokens, with cache reads at $0.015 / 1M tokens.

MiniMax Bot is just the opening act.

MiniApp lets MiniMax Code become whatever you describe.

[RonnyHe @Ronny_MiniMax]

We built the stage. You create.

MiniMax Code now has MiniApp: a way to make MCode grow into something that's yours.

The first one is MiniMax Bot, built by @MiniMaxAgent and me:
· A chief bot that builds your team, opens group chats, sets up scheduled tasks
· @ hands off in a group chat; bots can pass work to each other
· Heavy jobs get moved to the background — you keep talking, it comes back with the result
· Every bot has its own model, reasoning effort, memory, and look
We ship the stage. You decide the play.

Absolutely crushed it

[ZARA @HeyZaraKhan]

The first thing I noticed in the new MiniMax Code update is that it just feels easier to work in.

I used it to build this 3D furniture store from scratch, where users can rotate a product, change its colors and materials, toggle components, add accessories, and see the price update dynamically.

The new MiniMax Code UI is cleaner, the interactions are more polished, and real-time agent action tracking makes a bigger difference than I expected.

I can actually follow what the agent is doing instead of wondering what’s happening in the background.

The upgraded Git Graph is also a nice touch.

Overall, it feels less like “watch AI generate code” and more like having a proper workspace I can stay in for longer.
