🎉LA declared Sept 1–8 official "BTS Week!"
A proclamation ceremony was held at City Hall on Aug 31, ahead of @bts_bighit's "ARIRANG" world tour stop in LA.
Mayor Karen Bass said the proclamation honors BTS's remarkable achievements and their major contribution to global culture.

Sayang banget ternyata masih banyak yang gak sadar kalau sedari awal, #RM udah acak-acak lirik interlude ‘Mic Drop’ selama tur ARIRANG 😅
🎶 Lirik asli:
Haters gon’ hate,
Players gon’ play
Live a life man
Good luck
Dan yang berubah-ubah di setiap konsernya hanya 2 verse terakhir. Sedangkan untuk “haters gon’ hate, players gon’ play” itu merupakan lirik asli dari lagunya.

Recording Academy may revamp 'Best Asian Pop Music Performance' category ahead of 2027 #GRAMMYs.
“There are some artists in this space who feel that this category isn't representing the music they work so hard to create”.
A Namjoon thread everyone should read.
🐨: “When I recommend songs, people often say, ‘I don’t listen to Western music. I can’t understand the lyrics.’ But I listen to plenty of songs without knowing the lyrics either. I fall in love with them first, then I look up the meaning and pay closer attention. It’s about feeling the emotions. Does the language really matter?”
🐨: “And once you start loving those songs, you end up learning so much English too. I think about a third of my English comes from music. I’d constantly look up expressions and read the lyrics.”
🐨: “I believe music is a language in itself.”
This message has always been at the core of BTS. It’s been there since the very beginning, and with their decision not to submit to the Grammys, they proved they have never betrayed their beliefs about music.
People who say BTS “sold out to the West,” “only make commercial music,” or “refused the Grammys just for press attention” simply have no idea who BTS are. They never understood them in the first place.
Yes, BTS wanted recognition. Yes, they wanted that damn trophy. But not at that cost. It takes incredible courage to walk away from your dream. They did it for themselves and for the values they’ve believed in since debut.
Real strength belongs to those who stay true to their principles, even if it means giving up something they’ve wanted for years.
BTS say, “they don’t know ’bout us.”
I’m telling you: get to know them.

— @CBCNews reports over BTS not submitting their music for the Grammys.
"BTS talks, People Listen."
"It's the biggest news in music."
"It's been a humongous year for BTS. Their album, ARIRANG is critically acclaimed, culturally beloved...most of these are factors which leades to thinking that 'hey, this will lead to some GRAMMY consideration' and they are telling us that they are not interested in that in 2027."
