Afghan women have to kill the men.
Everyone keeps reacting to this statement as if it’s a joke, but it is literally the only way out of their situation.
Afghan women need to kill as many of the men as possible.
The men in the Taliban.
And the men not in the Taliban who are benefiting from their suffering.
Everyone praises slave rebellions.
Slaves are called upon to overthrow their oppressors.
Why does nobody recognise female slavery when it is staring them in the face?
Afghanistan practices Female Slavery by law.
In Afghanistan, men are the Slave Masters.
The only path to freedom for Afghan women is not international pressure which has proven useless, it is for Afghan women to rebel and kill their slave masters.

A woman slaying alone: It Girl.
Women slaying together: Girl Squad.
I think GS is a lot more fun and tells the patriarchy to f off more effectively more than It Girl does.

Fking ridiculous that a religious figure abused a minor and some people are more concerned that we get his designation right. Point is, it happened. If you really cared, ya'll should have been concerned about his qualifications prior to an incident occured, not after
perhaps jewish people should stop carving the Star of David into Palestinian people's faces or selling stolen Palestinian land out of synagogues if they want people to not associate zionism with judaism
What happens to women in Afganistan (starting from the forced veil) to everything else DOES really suck but that doesn't give you the right to bully women who choose the hijab out of free will in other countries. None of this is feminist. Just more misogynistic bs.
I don't know why it is so controversial to say that no one should be bullied for how they dress, whether they cover or don't cover. Your ideologies, no matter how feminist you think they are, aren't more feminist than respecting another woman's bodily autonomy/agency.
Sri Lanka may have militarily “won” the war, but the final chapter of it remains stained by the horrors of grave war crimes, authoritarianism and the tyranny associated with your father’s regime. This was no “victory day” to Sri Lankans. It’s a stark reminder of how racist, majoritarian politics ruined our island nation for decades. A reminder that the war didn’t start out of a vacuum.
Whether it’s Netanyahu’s Likud or Rajapaksa’s SLPP, there are similar political patterns: ethnonationalist rhetoric, concentration of power, mega corruption allegations, divisive hardline politics, attacks on journalists and dissent (including murder and torture) and governance built around fear and loyalty networks.
Both represent extreme right wing nationalist political cultures that have left deep social damage in their wake. In Sri Lanka’s case, that legacy also includes democratic erosion, institutional decay, and the economic collapse the country is still recovering from.
Democracy is important. Opposition is important. But Sri Lanka would be far better off without your brand of politics and the ideology that comes with it.
17 years.
in memory of the tens of thousands of Tamils massacred by the Sri Lankan state.
in solidarity with those still denied justice, dignity and freedom and those who continue to fight for truth and accountability amid ongoing violence and persecution 🪔

With everything going on in the world rn, I hate the thought of what else might be coming next and that it would be inevitable that I might be living long enough to see whatever it is. I'm just really tired.
