Yh this might be the first time I've felt slight nerves this season mainly cos of recent absentees but I'm still optimistic. This is where belong though. We are 2 years ahead of schedule I planned for. Never forget.
@MiniShubz You feeling the nerves mannnn. Don’t blame you. Let’s enjoy it. For years we’ve waited to be involved in the conversation and we are here now. I’m going to relish every single minute and emotion. BELIEVE!!!!
The City scandal is mad but it's convenient they want to make City's ownership the face of cheating in this league...
It gets dark for United if they open up all the files. If you're stripping titles off Pep. Fergie also loses many btw
Yes but you're talking about a young Saliba. Title-winning Saliba could take turns with Gabriel in dominating a tank as seen with Håland last season who peels onto Gabriel for more joy... e.g LC final
Said this last season
@MiniShubz When the alternative for a target man is to station himself on a monster like Gabriel, of course they’ll go to the other CB. Toney bullied Saliba more than once.
Must admit Konsa is concerning me a bit... target men are targeting him a lot (Brobbey/DLC). I think he contests for RB in the longer term for us. We have an elite standard defensively but we're too open this year. He's at his peak now too.
Mosquera/Saliba are ahead for me
Just like that... the small addition of pace changes the whole outlook.
Also winning goal coming from Saka going over to the left, something that Ali called for last ep. Wingers need to trade flanks more.
Until Jan at least Noni is an important player whether ppl like it or not
We made a little miscalculation in anticipating all opponents would show us more respect than last ssn by sitting back and built a frontline to unlock deep blocks
As champions everyone wants to have a pop, more space in-behind. Gotta address this in Jan, especially for the CL!
We went back & forth between Vincius/Alvarez.
Either work for me or Nico Williams.
Agreed we have to loosen our superstar restrictions now.
Pep wanted to win a CL without one/ Messi, had to buy Håland eventually to bag one. Lucho the same, Dembele hit Ballon D'or level for his.
Around Europe, a shift has happened. The false 9 is fading, all the big clubs (besides Bayern) have #9s that play off the shoulder/converted strikers from wing - Raphinha/Mbappe/Håland/etc.. the Henry/R9 era of strikers is returning. Martinelli sale was mistimed, need to replace.

(throwback) Fantastic MOTM performance from Ballard. Always liked him. Potentially Gary Cahill level if he remained under Mikel's defensive coaching
Gabriel is proof, ball-handling isn't a deal breaker to make it as a CB here. Mistake by the club that #Minichats
His build up game is nowhere near Xhaka's level. Solid box-to-box player though. Bruno at Newcastle was really the trick missed.
If you're talking absolute perfection for that ppsition. Camavinga is the one. Unrealistic.
Although this a 3rd man run, this combination is significant between Ø / Havertz. Kai having the sense to connect with the cross, opposing threat in the box. Tools that show me he's a forward.
Cos he's not fixed in the position like Gabby. J was. It alligns with my quote here in some ways of moulding him into a particular profile. Havertz is a nice vision I have for the offence.
When I tap into this part of my brain = Masterpieces.
