I wrote a detailed article on Cysic in early July, where I described the key features of the architecture and technologies used (link to the article will be in the post below). Just a few days later @cysic_xyz program on Kaito which was a big surprise for all of us. Let's dive into the key points, and understand what exactly is Cysic?

Cysic combines high-performance appraisal software and a flexible blockchain platform to offer unprecedented speed and accessibility in zero-knowledge evidence.

🔳 Funding and development
The startup has raised a total of $18M in two rounds: $6M from Polychain Capital and HashKey Capital in February 2023 and $12M in Pre-A from OKX Ventures and HashKey Capital in May 2024. These infusions have allowed it to expand its engineering team and accelerate the release of hardware products.

🔳Key hardware solutions
▪️C1 chip (zkVM-ASIC): specialized ASIC for instant solution of polynomial computation and exponentiation, outperforming FPGA prototypes and competitors by 10-100x .
▪️ZK Air USB-C gas pedal: compact power bank format device, generates hundreds of zkSNARK proofs per second directly on the client, without cloud latency.
▪️CUDA SDK for ZK frameworks: accelerates Plonky2, Halo2 and Gnark by over 80% relative to open source implementations.

🔳Network Architecture
The platform is built on the Cosmos SDK with the CometBFT consensus, providing instant block finalization and fault tolerance for up to 33% of nodes. The Proof of Compute model combines features of PoW and PoS, rewarding compute resource providers and AI Swarms for real-time proof creation and verification .

🔳Ecosystem and Customers
Cysic serves over 50 leading ZK projects, including Scroll, with a combined market cap of over $100 billion. Partnerships with Alchemy, Nexus and data centers strengthen the platform's ability to scale and offer services.

🔳Market and Impact
The volume of compute power reserves includes specialized FPGA clusters and multiple GPU servers to guarantee high throughput for tasks of any scale. @cysic_xyz is becoming the core of a new compute economy where GPUs, ASICs and CPUs are turned into liquid assets through the ComputeFi-marketplace with AMM pricing and $CYS tokens and for steaking and management.

Cysic combines advanced hardware designs with a robust blockchain infrastructure to create the foundation for Web3, where privacy proofs and high-performance computing become truly accessible.
