A powerful voice for public sector banking!
Prof. K. Nageshwar, Former MLC and Professor of Journalism, strongly voiced his opposition to the proposed privatisation of IDBI Bank.
His support strengthens our fight to protect this national asset.

You are the real inspiration @idesibanda. Always on vigil for banking industry. Yes I do stand shoulder to shoulder the all those who are following gandhian path of satyagrah. Tomorrow and day after 2nd and 3rd November we are on hunger strike.

VIDEO | Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil alleges irregularities in the proposed sale of IDBI Bank, saying, “This is a bank that has provided loans and benefits to small workers, artisans, manufacturers and MSMEs, contributing significantly to the country's development. I have displayed the complete details on screen. Between 2021 and 2026, IDBI Bank earned a profit of Rs 50,000 crore and owns properties worth a substantial amount. Despite this, the government is selling the bank to a foreign entity. Before the sale, the valuation was fixed at Rs 94.40 per share. Despite this, the share price was subsequently fixed at Rs 75 through a fresh valuation after the bids had been opened, even though the law prohibits a revaluation once bids have been submitted. This is a scam, an act of theft and a loss to the country..."
