OP shared a heartwarming story about meeting Pharita and her mother last Sunday night while Pharita was in Thailand for an event with the other BABYMONSTER members.

Here’s the English translation of OP’s story:

I just came across the photo of Pharita with her mom from her latest trip to Thailand, and it reminded me of the most unforgettable fangirl memory of my life. I just have to write it down so I can always look back on it 😭

Last Sunday, around 10:30 p.m., Pharita came to dine at the restaurant where I work. One of the servers came up to me and said, “Pharita from BABYMONSTER is here. Do you know her?” I was completely shocked and kept asking over and over, “Really? Are you serious?” She even asked me, “You know her?” I immediately replied, “Of course I do!”

A little background: I’m a pastry chef, so I’m the one who bakes the bread for the first course. That means I’m usually one of the first people in the kitchen to know who’s coming in.

The moment I realized I had to write on Pharita’s dessert plate… I have to admit, my hands were shaking so badly 😭😭😭

The “Welcome Back to Thailand” message had to be written in just a few seconds because I had originally prepared a different phrase. Once you write on the plate, that’s it! It goes straight out. There was no chance to redo it. I really wanted everything to be perfect for her, so I couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed in myself. 🥲

I’ve only been a pastry chef for five months. Even though I practice writing on plates every single day, I’m still not fully confident in my lettering. Thankfully, all of my senior chefs encouraged me and told me it looked beautiful.

After the dish was sent out, my head chef asked, “Do you want to see her? I can take you out”

I hesitated for a long time because I wanted to respect her privacy. In the end, I only asked if I could stand by the kitchen entrance and see her from afar. He was actually willing to take me much closer, but I politely declined. I genuinely believe artists deserve their privacy, no matter who they are.

Then, the server taking care of Pharita’s table happened to tell her, “There are so many of your fans working in the kitchen”

At that exact moment, I walked out, and she gestured toward us.

Pharita and her mom turned around…

…and they waved at us.

I literally screamed inside 🥹

I waved back, and for a moment, it felt like time had completely stopped.

I had only planned to catch a glimpse of her from a distance before going back to work, but that one minute became one of the most precious moments of my life. She was absolutely stunning. She had such an incredible aura that I can’t even describe it 😭

Even though it was dark, and I’m nearsighted, she was still glowing from so far away. Huhu… 😭🫶🏻

After waving back, my trainee and I just stood there, overwhelmed with happiness. Then I ran back into the kitchen and excitedly told everyone,

“She waved at me!!”

I honestly can’t describe how happy I was.

Thank you, Pharita, and thank you to your mom for giving me such a beautiful memory before the end of my shift. I’ll never forget the image of you waving at me for the rest of my life 🙏🏻🥹

I really want to go to your concert one day. I’ll save up and get there!
