Fauci didn’t have the power to mandate COVID shots in a way that could impose real consequences.
That power belonged to the government, federal agencies, states, localities, schools, and private employers.
Fauci is just a face used to distract you from the mandate regime and the ones who pushed those shots.
He did not put the rules in place, but the ones who did now want you to trust that very same system.
It’s a limited hangout. Pay attention.
The main criticism of AOC’s backtracking on her “wokeness” assumes that she is censoring her more radical opinions in order to be accepted by the establishment. I have a much more cynical view of celebrity politicians. I believe she espoused those politics because they were useful to advancing her career. Now that her career requires her to distance herself from those positions, she is doing that instead. The advancement of her career is her ideology. The same way democrats are critizing Israel right now. They can't advance their career otherwise.

RE: COVID vaccines and Miscarriage Risk
Establishment doctors who love pharmaceutical products and are posting today in support of Fauci, are missing the point.
In this debate, it is of NO CONSEQUENCE whether the miscarriage rate after COVID vaccination is 0.8% or 80%.
The issue is that you don’t take any chances during pregnancy— there are even warnings against eating certain dairy, and taking a Tylenol.
You don’t hide risks from pregnant women, or women thinking of becoming pregnant. You must disclose everything, no matter how small you think the risk is.
If you hide stuff, you must face consequences.
Remember Fauci and the medical establishment were totally OK with mandating this shot in pregnant women, and threatening them with consequences like job loss.
Now they should face consequences. This whole episode is totally abhorrent.
@WildSageHeart@Wyrm_Of_Thane@AndrewZywiecMD Thanks. But this follow-up stops at week 20, not following the patients until live-birth (and they have no data for about 10% of the participants).
You'll regret it if you get married, you'll regret it if you don't get married. You'll regret it if you have kids and you'll regret it if you don't. Kierkegaard said this 200 years ago as follows - whatever you choose, you'll regret it, because the problem isn't in your choices, it's in romanticizing your life. A person always finds an untravelled path alluring and mysterious. That's why the issue isn't making the right choice. It's choosing and deciding which regret you'll live with. In life, we must choose our regret.
