@Mappletons Good read. This passage underscores why I can never join the “remote work forever!” crowd. There are some jobs that just don’t work well remotely. I work in a design team and there’s so much that happens outside of pre-defined *meetings*.

@stalman That’s what I was guessing, that it’d be the Q3 AF but anecdotally I’ve heard that that’s not actually good AF (I’m not expecting great like Sony/Canon). I just want it to stick to eyes in subjects that aren’t moving toooooo erratically.

@tomgara We had a terrible experience with All Clad. Almost all of them the non stick layer is coming off of the pan. We’re looking for replacements. Wonder if we did something wrong?

@MattiHaapoja Leica M10-R for digital because it brings me more joy than any other digital camera (tried the X100V, Q2, have an R5). None of them inspire me like the M does.

@stalman Yes, more often than I’d like. But then I think this is the charm of it. Because if I wanted perfectly exposed shots more often I’d use my G2 and be more mindful of exposure etc

But I totally agree it’s annoying. And more often than I’d like.
