I read a response to this article that made sense to me in a way. The comment pointed out how a lot of these students were already abandoned before ChatGPT showed up. There were no forums or feedback, cameras were off, multiple choice tests and teachers too burned out to engage. The "intellectual community" this article mourns never existed for most of these people in the first place.
Similar to several critiques about AI tools, it's not that students always want to turn to chatgpt, but when they have isolated learning environments with minimal interactions with teachers and peers, they turn to AI chatbots for conversational learning. It's not always laziness. sometimes it's because the AI is literally the only thing in their educational environment that responds.
We need to stop questioning why students are outsourcing to AI and start holding institutions responsible and asking; "what kind of institution charges you for a degree and makes a chatbot feel more present than any human in the building?" That's what we should fix first.
Omo, Betway really ate with this Don Jazzy Brand Ambassador announcement and I can’t think of bigger influencer than him today…
Little wonder the Internet is buzzing over the announcement!
Never knew a day would come where I'd actually speak Finnish fluently😂
I uploaded a video of myself, ran it through the Language Swap Skill on Pika MCP and watched myself speak a completely different language- cloned voice, perfect lipsync. I honestly had to watch it twice.
How it works:
1️⃣ Add the Pika MCP server: https://t.co/zsPf2z006E and complete the auth flow using claude code
2️⃣ Install the companion skills: npx skills add Pika-Labs/Pika-Plugins#staging -y
3️⃣ Use the Language Swap Skill- upload a video of yourself & state the language you want
Creators shouldn't have a language barrier and now @pika_labs makes sure we don't. ✨
What language should I try next?
Jerrod created a monster catching game with Claude Fable 5!
This took around 10-15 minutes, and Claude designed the gameplay mechanics, creatures and environment.
As a first try this was really cool to see!
Have you tried Fable 5 yet?
