Mail-ins could also be received by *Elections BC* by the 19th, not Victoria. I could have walked up to any poll and handed them the envelope on the 19th, up to 8 o'clock.

@somala71 @Neiloutdooradd1 @ElectionsBC (2/2) Mail-in ballots have to be checked that the person didn't already vote. Say I'd cast a ballot at the university station and sent my mail-in anyways - they would know because they check the name on the ballot, see that I cast a vote already, and throw my second ballot out.

@somala71 @Neiloutdooradd1 @ElectionsBC Mail-in ballots have to go through a verification process. For ballots received by the 16th, they WERE counted on the 19th. For mail-in ballots received from the 16th 19th there's just not enough time to count them AND count the ballots cast that day. (1/2)

@Neiloutdooradd1 @ElectionsBC But that number may not reflect how many mail-in votes were sent back. I requested a mail-in ballot because I didn't know I could vote outside my riding (university). When I found out I could, I never sent my mail-in ballot to Victoria, I just went and voted at a poll station.

@NathanBlades3 @ElectionsBC So, a week is 7 days. 3 weeks would be 21 days (3x7). The election happened 9 days ago. So you just said that you think the count should have been done 12 days before the final voting day (21-9). I know math can be tricky so I figured I'd help you out a bit.

@DoeJane91094 @richardzussman The recount was for one specific tabulator machine that had an error of one vote. They recounted all the ballots from that machine by hand, but were very clear absentee ballots were to be counted today, Monday.

I wish there was a way to repair decayed weapons in #TearsOfTheKingdom - I know it's so you use the fuse ability but frankly I only ever want to use it with archery so having no way of repairing decayed weapons is really just an annoyance.
