I write hope into broken hearts, and faith into weary souls through creative stories and personal reflections.
One conversation changed the way I measure spiritual maturity.
I was listening to someone who knew the Bible inside out. They quoted verses effortlessly, prayed passionately, and sounded deeply spiritual.
Then the conversation shifted.
We stopped talking about church and started talking about money, success, people, and forgiveness.
That's when I realized something.
You don't really know what shapes a person's life until life takes the conversation away from church.
Anyone can sound spiritual when discussing God.
But how you think about power, respond to offense, treat people who can't help you, and make decisions under pressure reveals what truly governs your heart.
The Pharisees knew the Scriptures, yet they rejected Christ. Even Satan quoted Scripture in the wilderness.
Knowing verses isn't the goal.
Being transformed by the One the verses point to is.
The gospel doesn't just teach us what to say, it teaches us how to think.
When Christ truly rules a person's heart, you won't only hear it in their words.
You'll recognize it in the way they live.
@therealFadaca That was very insensitive.
Those kids and teachers are already traumatized. Some are still in shock. The least they could do is to give them some time to heal and reconnect with their families.
Empathy should come before trying to make a political statement.

Sometimes we forget that some of God’s strongest people had moments where they completely fell apart. Hannah cried until people misunderstood her pain. Hagar wandered into the wilderness feeling abandoned and wondering if anyone saw her. Naomi carried so much grief that she no longer recognized the woman she used to be. Elijah became so exhausted that he begged God to take his life. Scripture never pretends that faith means you’ll never struggle.
It reminds us that even faithful people have breaking points. So if you’re exhausted, heartbroken, anxious, grieving, or just trying to make it through today, don’t believe the lie that you’re too far gone for God. He met His people in the middle of their tears, fear, and weariness, and He’ll meet you there too. The same God who comforted them is still close to the brokenhearted, still strengthening the weary, and still carrying those who don’t have the strength to carry themselves.
@TheresaArueyin1 So what happens if they are "not compatible"?
I think that's the question she should ask.
First to herself. Then the man.
The answer should tell her what to do.
