But honestly, who am I to question the judgment of the great and wise borough council? It’s not like that massive garden centre they let be built on the flood plains the other side of the village flooded or anything…
@MirthMantis@mirthmantis (2 of 2) For the record, the proposed location is north of Northway, a short distance from an existing level crossing and the Ashchurch station, which, obviously, is not in a flood risk area.
@MirthMantis Hi @mirthmantis you have the wrong location. This information is false. Not exactly certain where this video was taken but the new bridge will not go over an already elevated section of track. The area has been carefully selected to be away from flood risk, obviously. 1 of 2
@Stagecoach_West Weird but ok. Any chance you could move the link to the actual full timetable pdf (which I would argue more people would find useful) somewhere more prominent on the page, to be less confusing?
@Stagecoach_West Hi. Why on earth does clicking the green PDF button on pages like this generate a PDF snapshot of the page? What possible use is that? https://t.co/PREcgF6xEG
@TewkesburyBCgov The fact you don't even know where that video was taken speaks volumes about the disconnection of TBC from the areas and people it actually serves.
But ok, here's a map, show me where the bridge is going to be .
This floodplain is where they want to build a bridge. This isn’t even the current instance of flooding today, this is the last flood a couple of weeks back.
Where do these fucking idiots think the water is going to go when there’s a road bridge here?
Homes England have offered to support a re-think of the new bridge over the railway north of Ashchurch station. For the full story head over to our website: https://t.co/6ZjBsmoTpv
@AskeBay Nice copy pasta. Want to actually answer my question?
Or here’s another. What “protections” are you charging buyers for that aren’t already covered by consumer rights? Getting refunds on undelivered items is covered by law.
Being able to phone you at 3am is not “protection”.
@AskeBay How can you justify a flat fee of 75p on top of 4% in the new "buyer protection racket"? I sell various items about £3.50 - that's over 20% of its value charged in fees that I'm probably going to have to eat to keep prices reasonable.
@AndiWithnail@TomDan80@FootyShirtSean And, as money grubbing as eBay are being, their customer service processes aren't as openly scammy as Vinted's (who Trading Standards pretty much have a "so you've been scammed on Vinted" fact sheet for, it's so blatant.)
DID YOU KNOW? In her hit song "Espresso," Sabrina Carpenter says she can "Move it up, down, left, right,"--a valid input for Zangief's Spinning Piledriver move, slyly alluding to the singer being a grappler main
Newly elected members of the French parliament refusing to shake hands with the far right is extremely satisfying. A particular shout out to the rock paper scissors gag.
