The MIRtoolbox webpage at JYU will reopen soon (with another URL). But before it is available, you can download the latest version of MIRtoolbox from this link: https://t.co/ZF5SeJB517
Hi. The problem with the MIRtoolbox project on GitHub is that it does not contain the complete distribution with all the associated toolboxes. We will add them in that GitHub project in the coming weeks. Meanwhile...
Hi! Since the MIRtoolbox official webpage has been currently removed, we just released MIRtoolbox GitHub project. You can download the latest version from here.

MIRtoolbox 1.8.2 released. It simply fixes 2 bugs. The most important bug is due to a change in Matlab since its version 2021b: graphical representation of temporal scalar curves in MIRtoolbox were erroneously zoomed to [0,1] on both axes.
Such a great pleasure to celebrate 15th years of @mirtoolbox with the dream team. Thanks for the lovely whisky, Pete!
(Maybe time to release an update of the toolbox, there are a couple of bug fixes.)
Another minor update 1.8.1 just released. Adding new ‘Buzzing’ preset for mirflux, tailoring the computation of spectral flux with the view to unveil salient aspects of sonic unsteadiness (Also part of Lartillot and Weisser, ICMPC 2021, presented in 12 hours)
Meow. It's been a long time.. MIRtoolbox 1.8 finally released! With new attack detection method, new normalisation techniques for roughness, flux and spectrogram, and various minor bug fixes, improvements and modifications.
The new normalised roughness computation (and our proposed variant of the Sethares model) will be discussed next week in a presentation by @OlliLartinen and Stéphanie Weisser at the #icmpc16#escom11 conference (paper 614 about roughness).
As part of the @MirageUIO Symposium (which will be a Zoom webinar), there will be a presentation about MIRtoolbox by @OlliLartinen and @phtoiviainen, at the end of the first day. Early development, how it has been used in research, current and future development.
1st MIRAGE Symposium at @Nasjonalbibl as well as online, 8-9 June, 2021. The topic is Computational Musicology.
https://t.co/O8yjVsRPiW
Will be presented, besides MIRAGE, other related projects in Europe. Also a dialog between computer science and musicology.
Welcome!
Also about the extended documentation, the modular framework, its maintenance. And finally about MIRtoolbox 2.0, a.k.a the @MiningSuite…
I hope you will enjoy the reading.
