@DrewPavlou Why exactly is it bad for society? I don't even necessarily disagree, but I've never heard anyone put forward a logical argument against stuff like this.
It's insane how stupid (or just plain evil?) these people are. "Import more people (median age 40 btw) to build more housing and provide more services for all of the people we keep importing! I need my slaves! I don't care what the impacts are on my children and their children!"
@MattxH1 Do some research on what percentage of migrant workers in Australia are paid less than they're legally owed. Any ideas about why that might be happening? That's not minimum wage mate.
@MattxH1 Not wanting to be paid minimum wage (or in some cases, below it) is very different to not wanting to work a below-avg paying job (which many, many Australians do). Does exploiting third world workers who are desperate for a better life genuinely seem like a good solution to you?
Occasionally, when I'm driving, I remember a Lebanese girl I once dated briefly telling me that using air-conditioning in your car is as bad as smoking cigarettes, because "you're breathing artificial air." Fun to imagine just how retarded some people's daily thoughts must be.
