Reading some books featuring fairies and many use the folklore on how to protect from the fair folk. Turning your clothes inside out,throwing salt etc.

BUT does anyone have a source for them hating music? I know of stories where other creatures hate the ringing of church bells..

Check out this beautiful *giant* siphonophore Apolemia recorded on #NingalooCanyons expedition. It seems likely that this specimen is the largest ever recorded, and in strange UFO-like feeding posture. Thanks @Caseywdunn for info @wamuseum @GeoscienceAus @CurtinUni @Scripps_Ocean

Amulet books 1-5 actually came out once a year. After a near death experience w/ bacterial meningitis & learning to live w/ limited abilities, they came out 2 yrs apart. After a second trip to the hospital, I decided to work at the pace of life so I can be here to do more books.
