All political parties who contested the elections knew that they were doing so in line with the provisions of the constitution and requirements of the law.

Accordingly, they all signed the pledge. Our call to each of them is that they must respect the population. If they have evidence of rigging, they know what to do within the period prescribed by law.
1. We call on the ANC to accept they could not achieve a 50 plus 1 to govern alone after their best shot. They need partner or partners, or they may be out of government altogether. No amount of threats can change that political reality.
2. We call on the DA that received 21% of the vote to accept that they did receive 50 plus 1. They may be in a coalition government or opposition. No amount of threats can change that reality.
3. We call on the MKParty to accept that after their best shot, they received 14%, not 21%, not 40%, not a 2/3 majority. No amount of threats and blackmail can manufacture numbers that do not exist.
4. We call on the EFF and all other parties to embrace what they received after their best shot.

This is how democracy works.

The rest of peace-loving South Africans must issue an unmistakable message to all political parties not to turn our country into a bloodbath because they did not get what they wanted during the elections. Three hundred thirty black and poor people died during the July 2021 organised mayhem. Please don't take us back to that disorder.

We must stand ready to say no to fascism that seeks to impose the will of a minority through disguised threats of violence. We say no to efforts to shred our Constitution and make our country not based on the rule of law but on the law of the jungle. Please don't plunge us to what is happening in the Eastern DRC and Sudan - we are pleading with you
