However, leaked WhatsApp chats suggest that Mahesh Bhatt instructed her to move out, she even thanked him for 'unclipping her wings'. A notice can be denied— but that does not end the legal issue.

Satish ji can still pursue the appropriate legal remedies, including civil defamation proceedings or a criminal complaint.

A rejection is not a clean chit.

Why has there been no headway in the Disha Salian case—with no summons, interrogations, or arrests in the last three weeks? Why is the CBI taking so much time to begin a practical investigation into the case? Every single day lost is a huge loss. Justice delayed is justice denied. @CBIHeadquarters

Under the new law, for sections like 376D and 302 applied in the Disha case, the CBI must complete the investigation within 60 days. Hope, they won't drag out the investigation for five years like they did in the SSR case. Don't betray the trust a grieving father has in you.

Unanswered Questions In #DishaSalianCase

Disha Salian’s death must be examined fairly, transparently and impartially.

The Bombay High Court has itself raised specific questions concerning the earlier investigation, including the timing of the spot panchnama, the presence of police personnel before the recorded time of death, discrepancies concerning injuries and blood evidence, the bedroom door, FSL documentation, seizure records and the delayed seizure of digital devices. These issues do not by themselves establish foul play. But they raise a fundamental investigative question:

Were these procedural and evidentiary discrepancies fully explained, independently verified and reconciled before the earlier case was closed?

Mumbai Police had previously concluded that it found no evidence of foul play, while a later SIT also did not proceed further. (The Indian Express)

The Bombay High Court subsequently directed the CBI to register an FIR and investigate the matter. (The Indian Express)

So the demand is simple:

examine every discrepancy through evidence, establish the complete chronology, verify the forensic and digital record, and let the evidence determine what actually happened.
