If Congress ever comes to power, and they don't go after even one Bhajapilla, especially the IT Cell, then I will become the number 1 enemy of Congress. Even worse, if they co-opt and embrace Godi media, then I will start propaganda against INC from day one. Watch it @RahulGandhi
Remembering how when my Mum left, my Dad still didn't learn to cook or do anything else she'd been doing solo all those years.
I quickly taught myself to cook at age 10, using books from the library, as soon as I realised that every meal with my father was going to be a bag of frozen sausage rolls, plain toast, or nothing at all. By 13, I was cooking meals for him too.
And that's how male incompetence trains women.
“Ye cultural shock hai ki humari betiya iss prakar ki bhasha kaise bol sakti hai” abey buddhe humare liye bhi ye cultural shock ki hai ki aurato ko surpnakha, congress ki vidhwa, jersey cow aur 50 crore ki gf bolne wala humara PM bana baitha hai aur hume gyan chod raha hai.
If I have to abuse someone I really hate and despise, I'll just call them Narendra Modi,
that name itself is worse than any kind of abusive word I can think of.
There's nothing more humiliating than being referred to as a mass murdering, bloodthirsty, insecure, pathetic, coward
Adult women don’t need your moral policing. They aren’t your daughters. Men abused you too, yet your boring asf lecture was reserved for women. Whenever women step outside your patriarchal, nationalist idea of how they should behave, you label it a “cultural crisis.”
Dear Apoorvanand sir, I respectfully disagree. No one expects movement leaders to be a shield against state repression. But when an organization gives the call to the streets, it also assumes a responsibility towards those who answer it. CJP did not mobilise only seasoned activists. It called upon students, daily wage workers, people from different caste, class and religious backgrounds, including those who are the most vulnerable to police action. People like Saurav, Abhijeet and Ashutosh now have the networks, public visibility and support of different mainstream political parties and civil society that many ordinary protesters do not. That influence should now be used to ensure legal aid, document every arrest and FIR, track every case, and stand beside those facing retaliation.
I agree, but I don’t think @AfreenFatima136 is an example of someone who has been intimidated into silence. If anything, she embodies the opposite. She has lived through the demolition of her home, the imprisonment of her father, years of displacement, surveillance, and an extraordinary degree of public scrutiny yet her voice remains intact. Visibility is not the only measure of resistance.
My grief is for the many many Muslim women who have been pushed out of public life not only by the state’s repression and attacks by the right wing but also by relentless character assassination, misogyny, and orchestrated online witch hunts, from some Muslim men especially here. These attacks are a way of warning women that they could speak, but only if they stayed within limits these men had set for them.
Muslim women have never lacked courage. They have been among the clearest and loudest voices against injustice in this country. What they have lacked is the collective protection and solidarity they deserved. That is on all of us. And Muslim women are not going anywhere.
Even the most liberal Hindu believes Indian Muslims are uneducated by choice. The fact is that your radical brethren don't let us get educated. When we study in secular schools, we're mistreated by Hindus. When we build our own institutions, Hindus demolish them.
TRUE LEADERSHIP
"BJP is backtracking on its promise of no action, no FIRs on protestors, students have been arrested in Bihar, West Bengal and other NDA ruled states. Students are being harrased. Muslims students are being specifically targeted. I will be in Patna tomorrow."- @neha_aisa
So apparently Godi media is now saying “we were always with the students who suffered”, “we always asked for accountability from Pradhan”.
Jo hua bohot acha hua inke sath protest mein🤣. Nahi sudhre toh same treatment continue rahega🙂
