In 2020, Saraki @bukolasaraki wrote a similar emotive letter accusing Governor @RealAARahman AbdulRazaq of forcefully collecting a piece of land belonging to their family. He threatened to take the Kwara State Government to court.
Not only did he frustrate that case severely, they could not provide any evidence in court to show proof ownership. The case was eventually abandoned by him.
Ile Arugbo is now being used to build a state-of-the-art hospital to deepen access to healthcare for Kwarans.
Did he come to update the public that he failed on that mission?
If he knew to go to court that time, he should go to court again to prove his innocence.
What is His Excellency afraid of?
Kwara is not a part of the estate he was willed.
Bukola Saraki owes the state explanation about his involvement in that heinous incident and should go to court to clear his name.
Ibraheem Abdulateef.

NPF CLARIFIES POSITION ON TINTED GLASS PERMIT ENFORCEMENT
The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed claims that it is restrained by a court order from enforcing the tinted glass permit policy, insisting that enforcement remains lawful and necessary for public safety.
At the IRT office, the Force Public Relations Officer explained that at no point did any court stop the police from enforcing the policy. He said the court order being widely circulated was misinterpreted, noting that the injunction only directed parties to maintain the status quo , but ongoing enforcement, not suspension.
As part of the briefing, the Nigeria Police Force paraded exhibits recovered from various criminal operations conducted nationwide. The Force disclosed that seven major cases were successfully concluded, leading to the arrest of nine suspects involved in armed robbery, kidnapping, cultism, and drug-related offences.
Items recovered from the suspects include two AK-47 rifles, three pump-action rifles, two single-barrel guns, two Beretta pistols, four locally fabricated revolvers , six live cartridges, four magazines, thirty-five rounds of live ammunition among other exhibits.
He further assured Nigerians that comprehensive security plans have been put in place to prevent any breakdown of law and order during the forthcoming festive season, with increased patrols, surveillance, and rapid response units deployed across major cities and highways.
ARMY DIDN'T ARREST ANY ARMED BANDITS IN IFELODUN, KWSG COUNTERS MISINFORMATION TARGETED AT CAUSING PANIC
Kwara State Government (@FollowKWSG) wishes to clarify that the Nigerian Army (@HQNigerianArmy) did not arrest any armed bandit in Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State -- contrary to the disinformation spreading on social media platforms.
First, the Nigerian Army did not arrest any armed bandits in any part of Ifelodun.
We have carefully watched the short video in circulation in which some individuals arrested said they were in possession of a vehicle given to them by 'Ilorin Government' and weapons they received 'from Abuja'.
While the content of the video and the whole circumstances around the suspects are being investigated, it is important to clarify that the suspects were not arrested in Ifelodun or any part of Kwara. No security agency, including the Army, ever reported such arrests in Kwara. They were reportedly arrested in Auchi, Edo State. Further details are awaited for more clarity.
Indeed, no State Government has the power to arm anyone with AK-47. Neither did the individuals mention that Kwara State Government gave them any weapon. The Ifelodun Local Government Authority, for its part, has clarified that the security van was given to the vigilantes initially deployed in Ifelodun to strengthen existing security. These vigilantes have since left Ifelodun. However, the LGA had repeatedly complained to relevant authorities that its van was not returned to its pool.
To win the war against banditry and other violent crimes, we urge enhanced interagency coordination, intelligence sharing, and cooperation amongst the security agencies.
As the security forces are probing the development, we urge people, especially online media platforms and bloggers, to avoid biased assimilation of information or misrepresenting things, because such behaviour poses existential threat to human life and public peace.
