@ZoomerHistorian I would like to point this out (like every time i see this chart) that the axis of disparity to asians is actually expanded by around 8 times relative to disparty to Africans. Its from an NIH study iirc. Horizontal accounts for ~78%, vertical for ~10%.
Okay, so first of all, i have researched this. PC1 is the principal component that accounts for the most genetic diversity, and PC2 is the second most. Oddly enough, that means that this chart is out of ratio. Attached is the correct adjusted proportion. (NIH) https://t.co/Jz1LstW2b9
@loschbourmn@YAlfaires@BiruniKhorasan Can you clarify and identify what PC1 and PC2 are? I am trying to locate sources, as i see these a lot. Before i go all, this is a different race, i want to make sure im knowledgeable lol
@flwyd Hey, I was poking around google earth and found a few photo spheres you did in Oklahoma. It looks really good for a liminal space-vibed image. May I use a portion or it for that? (Attached is the image in question, which I may edit for the desired effect, with your permission.)
How does saying "let's move on and be better than those that came before us" remotely translate as racism? Can I get reasoning behind that? Also, just to clarify, he's not saying slavery didn't exist for any group, rather that it existed for all groups, and has been a regrettable part of the human condition.
The sad thing is, when bad things like assassinations happen, it polarizes. Like, can we just agree that this isnt okay, honor the assassinated individual, demonize the assassin and move on?
The point of the matter is this: a peaceful man with controversial but logically backable view was killed in a manner that, regardless of what the investigators conclude, should never have even been a possibility. Gun or no gun, right or left, murder is wrong, the widow and her children must be comforted, and the killer brought to fair and equal justice.
This post is, I know, just a drop in the social bucket, but we need better avenues then back and forth moral litigation.
@elonmusk why do you only choose people with degrees/qualifications for your companies, when this wasnt the case for doge? Feels like unequal application of a concept.
