@skeletons_twin Heres some pics from my NYE outfit that are my more femme side that made me feel really good too! (NYE is a very important holiday for me, so I stepped up my game.)
@skeletons_twin I might post more later, but I am Nonbinary (although considering if Genderfluid is more applicable) and I was feeling pretty masc last weekend. Not sure why more jewelry, especially earrings, makes me feel more queer looking, but it is nice.
@travismcelroy I recently got one of those fire pits that reduces smoke! It's really nice, I didnt realize how well it was working until the battery for the fan died and I had to deal with a LOT of smoke. It's the Biolite one! I also have asthma so maybe that will help?
@pjuhl16 To add to this, if you cant shower for some reason, a half step is always good. A wet washcloth, or washing your hair in the sink, or even changing into clean clothes. A 50% is better than a 0%
@tarabyte3 A lot of times, it's me getting waaaaay too excited about a plot twist or finding something morbidly funny.
Example: I find the episode of TMA: Anatomy Class fucking hilarious.
Dancing on the fun tight rope of "I'm so happy/relieved" and "I dont want any trouble from conservatives at my new job" so that basically means I'm VIBRATING
To add to this, got any tips for dealing with disaster cleanup? We functionally had a surprise hurricane in IOWA, a place not built for hurricanes. Tips would be nice 😅
Because I live in Iowa and a storm called a Derecho just decimated the city I live in. Also we were getting our roof replaced and it was only half done, so water started pouring in. My bedroom is the upstairs, and without electricity maintains about 90° or more.
The choices don’t have to be:
-Stay home to stay safe, but lose your income/businesses close forever from loss of revenue, or
-Open everything back up and risk the lives of millions of service workers.
There are near-infinite other options that govt and society are ignoring.
