This week was Jump Rope for Heart and the students were so excited to practice their jump rope skills and get active with their book buddies! Such a great cause to raise money for ♥️ #jumpropeforheart #heartandstrokefoundation @hfsnewhamburg

S is for STUFFY DAY! 🧸 and SUMMER BIRTHDAYS! 🥳 @hfsnewhamburg

R is for READING 📖📚Students brought their favourite book and a blanket to school today. We also got to share our wordless stories with our Book Buddies and they read us the stories they wrote for us! @hfsnewhamburg

Q is for QUEST! 🧭🗺 Today was a hit! Students went on a scavenger hunt all around the school, following riddles, in order to find their treasure. They did an amazing job and were very happy with the end result! @hfsnewhamburg

P is for puppets and PJs 🤗 Students used their imaginations while making hand puppets today! They were very excited to make whatever they wanted and can’t wait to play with them later today. @hfsnewhamburg

O is for ORANGE! 🍊🧡 So many students wore orange and we enjoyed a yummy orange coloured snack @hfsnewhamburg

K is for KITES! 🪁 We listened to the book “Kite Day”, learned about how kites work from Sci Show Kids, and decorated our own kites. Students tried their best to fly them today, too! @hfsnewhamburg

J is for JOKES! 🤪 We had some big laughs yesterday as students shared their favourite jokes.

E is for EXERCISE 💪🏼 We had so much fun working out to our letter sounds & numbers, playing a new adding game with dice where the sum represented a workout, and being gymnasts on the playground! @hfsnewhamburg
