@kateatherley It is very personal though…some women say they want the same surname as their kids. It never felt like an issue for us growing up, but I can see why others might want that.
@kateatherley I feel much the same… I’m getting married in a few months and won’t be changing my name. Probably important to note here that my mum never changed hers - she got married in the 1970s so was progressive at the time! Never once used my dad’s name in 40 years.
I have a genuine question abt pronunciation of “bobsleigh”… I thought it was pronounced “bobsled”, but @7olympics hosts are consistently saying it like “bobslay” (which I do get, b/c of the spelling)… except for “bobsled Bree”. I’m confused. Which is considered correct?
