@MissPowellEng@Team_English1 I just had this experience on Wednesday! Agree with others about having something concrete for people to take away and do, and would also recommend scripting exactly what you want to say for any key take away messages so you're clear. Good luck!
@hmcmenamingmai1 @FunkyPedagogy Thank you! That's really helpful. At the moment I do a different word for year 7, 8, 9, KS4 and KS5. Love the idea of connecting them by prefix.
@Team_English1 and literacy leads - does anyone do daily reading in form time? If so, what does it look like in your school? We've tried tutors reading out loud in the past and many non specialists weren't confident with it.
@Team_English1#teamenglish do any aqa examiners know if you can do exam marking on an iPad/tablet, or does it have to be a laptop or PC? Thanks in advance :)
@ScottPughsley How apt for me this week, tried to say 'i've printed out these big bits of speech', tripped over my words and says 'i've printed out these big bitches'. To year 8...
@bt_uk on Friday I rang you and asked you to keep our internet connected at our current address for another week as you couldn't get us set up at our new address until then, but I've woken up and our line has been disconnected. Is there a way you can reverse this?!
@Team_English1#teamenglish I'm on the verge of applying to mark the GCSE exams this year, but I'm nervous about the amount of papers I would have to complete... does anyone know if you can apply to mark a smaller load?
Weird to think I'll be getting married at exactly this time next year, only 3 days after finishing the most exhausting term! I'll be dragging my eye bags down the aisle with me!
