Today at my placement we did some fun literacy centers! The kids really seemed to like them, and I could tell that they have been working hard on their phonics skills! I’m sad I won’t get to see them next week, but they are definitely ready for their break! #edu310

I had my first observation yesterday and it went really great! It was really nice to meet my advisor and he gave me really good feedback! I am very thankful that my class was well behaved and liked the activity that I did with them :) #EDU310

The students at my placement have their parent teacher conferences coming up which means that my MT is doing end of quarter testing to see their growth. Today I was able to do their counting assessments as well as their letter sound recognition test! #EDU310

My kids had a party for Halloween today and it was fun to be able to see them all dressed up! We played lots of games and they had lots of treats! Glad I was able to be there :) #EDU310

We got a new student in our class and all of the kids have been so welcoming and accepting of their new classmate! Today I was able to work with them one on one to help get them caught up to where the rest of our students are. #EDU310

Was at my placement when the tornado warning went into effect. I’m so proud of my students for how well they did! They were super quiet and very patient! It shows how effective practice and good classroom management is! #EDU310
