@mrsangovePE Yeh really shocked. A 16 mark jump for a grade 4 is absolutely shocking. Never predicted the massive increase. Lots of students would have got a grade higher based on last years boundaries. Not fair on the students.

So today, it appears England is on course for the highest number of school suspensions in a single year. Statements on this today have mentioned ‘mental health issues, unmet needs, curriculum, under funding’……. But nothing about a lack of care, lack of accountability, lack of rules, boundaries, basic respect, decline in consequences, constant and rising sense of entitlement.

Until we stop talking about everything else apart from these things - we won’t reverse anything.

Over the moon with this years GCSE PE grades- proud teacher moment.
Although interesting to see the @AQA grade boundaries and the increase in marks especially for the higher grades (7-9). Lots of students missing out on a grade 7 who would have achieved this last year.

@AmazonUK very poor from Amazon, parcel could not be delivered yesterday as no one was ‘in’ which was untrue as my partner was in during the time of delivery. Waited in all evening for the parcel and still not here. So much for ‘prime’. Not good enough

@PeBrado I’ve seen the paper, it’s a nice paper. Good 6 and 9 mark question. Lots of 4 mark questions throughout- variety of topics. Lots of easy marks up for grabs.

@PETeacher890 I was allowed the paper after they had been picked up and the next GCSE exam had finished so got it lunchtime the next day I think it was.

@PeBrado Mixed reviews, hard questions- apparently worded funny. 9 marker was tough as well. Haven’t seen the paper yet!

Schools - protect teachers from unreasonable and angry parents who want to take out every life problem they have on unsuspecting class teachers who have done nothing but teach their child and hold high expectations. Society - fully support schools in this endeavor.
