A6 games games and more games!! Anything that’s not just a worksheet or slideshow and that’s great for me because I love activities! #edfb4338#whatisschool
A2 up until recently my motivations as always been on success. If people couldn’t see my success well then I wasn’t successful. I e had a lot of closed doors recently that have shown me that sometimes quiet success is so much more satisfying #edfb4338#whatisschool
Q3 pt. 1 I think the best way to do this is by example. If all teachers are passionate about what they do then the kids will enjoy it as well. I hated history in high school but once I had a professor who was passionate, I was about to find my passion in it #whatisschool
A1 sometimes I find this hard! But I truly LOVE telling people about history. I could sit and talk about it all day and having the slightest chance of having someone else fall in love with history too makes me really excited! #edfb4338#whatisschool
A3 participation is big for me! I firmly believe that if you participate willingly or unwillingly then eventually you will enjoy what you are doing. If I can’t get a student to participate I would love to hear their ideas of things they would like to do in class #TXed#edfb4338
A2 I think trying to create a classroom bond in the beginning of the year will help them cheer on their peers later. Also the more I encourage them and reinforce how each of them are capable will hopefully encourage others to cheer on their peer #TXed#edfb4338
A1 I don’t have my own classroom yet but I find that if I encourage my student to play off other students answers it not only makes them feel more confident in answering but also helps them work together. #TXed#edfb4338
@DruTomlin4Edu A3 This is so important to teach students. I don’t have a classroom yet but I heard one teacher gives a bandaid to each student even if the don’t need one. Then asks them if it made them better. She the explains to them the difference and I think that is so clever! #edfb4338
