When students are engaging in meaningful activities that allow them to discover and innovate freely, they will most likely put in more effort and enjoy the assignment!

@drjervin #EDMC3500 A way to build 'Learning Integrated Design' is by allowing students to fashion their assignments, physically interact with classmates to achieve mastery, and (as the teacher) take a "helping hand" role so that the students have room to take charge and create!

Three ideas for having successful classroom rules:

1. MODEL (practice) what you preach.
2. Let the class DEMONSTRATE or act out what each rule looks like in different situations.
3. Have clear and LOGICAL consequences for when rules are broken.
