I started my teacher training with basically no experience. My baby was 7 months old and my eldest was 3. Mum guilt, exhaustion, self-doubt, anxiety and plenty of tears. But two weeks on Friday I will have actually done it. Am I allowed to say I am incredibly proud of myself? ๐คฃ
@Ms_Stones1@MrTs_NQTs Congratulations! I have just started my ECT year in September and all I can say is don't be afraid to let your colleagues know if you're struggling. Always ask of you're unsure of something and remember you can't do EVERYTHING! Congratulations and good luck ๐ xxx
@MissThompson314 It is ridiculous the difference! I'm from up north but have friends who moved down south. I own a 3 bed house with a garden and we paid ยฃ79,950. The area isn't great but it's not horrendous. Move up north! Lol
Hey, I'm after some ideas for a short 20 min lesson observation in rapid recall of number facts, arithmetic and fluency OR technical writing skills, sentence structure, punctuation and spelling. It's for a Y4/5 mixed class.
I have some ideas but would love to hear some more plz x
I'm feeling really bummed out that I'm not going to be able to take my oldest to school on Tuesday for her very first day in reception ๐ฅบ. I know she will be so happy her daddy is with her but I can't help but feel guilty. I love my job but times like this make me a little sad ๐
Good morning everyone. I have just set up a teacher Instagram. Would love it if all you lovely people with Instagram could give me a follow please, and recommend some must-have profiles to follow ๐

I genuinely LOVE the community spirit on teacher Twitter and teacher Facebook pages. Someone will be asking for help and advice and then suddenly there's hundreds of comments saying "hey let me email you a terms worth of planing to have" ๐คฃ.
