Really wonderful to see another new team join our Pathway hospital team network - spreading specialist in-patient homelessness support to Wales for the first time.
We’re off. Paul Bostock, Chief Operating Officer, Cardiff City Hospital opens the launch event for the new CAVHIS inclusion health service, and the newest team to join our network. Congratulations to all the amazing people involved and welcome to our network. @CV_UHB
Delighted to share this series of policy papers by Pathway Fellows and Faculty members. This is our contribution to thinking on the NHS 10 Year Plan and the homelessness strategy. Evidence-based ideas to reduce shocking inequalities.
🚨 Too many people only get help when it’s too late. 🚨
Our NHS is struggling - the most vulnerable in our society are falling through the cracks. A broken housing system leaves people with nowhere safe to recover.
But it doesn't need to be this way.
London please help. I’m praying for a miracle, I’ve just got into the office and noticed my mums locket (in all these photos) that I wear every day has fallen off my neck on my walk in. My mum died when I was seven and her jewellery is most of what I have of her. I’m devastated
One of the plans announced by the Government when it came to power in July was a cross-Government unit to end homelessness. Dee O'Connell, the Director of Policy and Programmes at Pathway, outlines three steps that would help this new unit meet its aims. https://t.co/tjZDJFCPHD
Great to see @so_says_sally on this panel. The 10 year plan process she's leading in @DHSCgovuk certainly feels very participative and open so far. A really welcome shift.

"Kemi Badenoch's Misdiagnosis"
Why her take on autism is wrong and why it really matters in fixing one of the biggest policy problems around: the crisis in special educational needs.

Important question from @PaulaBarkerMP in Parliament and a welcome reply from @karinsmyth. @DHSCgovuk has a big role to play in supporting people experiencing homelessness and helping to deliver a truly cross-government strategy that can build a future free from homelessness.
It was great to be with @crisis_uk Skylight colleagues today, talking about how we can join up with our @PathwayUK work. Thanks to Croydon Skylight for having us, and for brightening our day with some really lovely Members’ art.
It seems odd of @BBCNewsnight to interview two people in support of weight loss injections, without including any opposing views. @axelheitmueller sets out the arguments here, citing @felly500 on commercial determinants of health https://t.co/np5U8aiXjW
Read in patient records
“ I get the impression she does not want this procedure” following rearranging.
an appt.
Patient is living in a tent, or B&B on a nightly basis
How much would you be able to organise your procedure without security?
Homefirst?
Home first? Virtual ward? Hospital at home? Is this how you want your Nan to be cared for or is it just good enough for people experiencing homelessness?
We spend so much time making people better then sticking them back to what got them sick
