Taking feedback can be difficult. Teaching is such a personal thing, we often take criticism personally. The majority of people give you the feedback to make you a better teacher. Train yourself to not take it personally. (this is something I am still working on) #NQT
After the dreaded nerves this morning, I am so glad my mid point review went well today. My tutor is so supportive and the children were outstanding throughout our maths lesson ๐ค
The children have loved creating these models to show the relationship between the earth, sun and moon and how they orbit. Successful science lesson โบ๏ธ
School can heal children, harm them & everything between. School can be a life-changing protective factor or a risk. Weโre not therapists, as educators, but our power to do good or ill is greater than that of any therapist. Mental health is therefore inescapably our business.
