Despite a global pandemic, the gov is now implementing the MPT. We have 4 months to pass or we lose our licenses. The #onted system needs new teachers right now. It is truly disheartening that this is a priority for the ministry right now. @maritstiles @ChrisGloverMPP

As teacher candidates today scramble to register for the math proficiency test, the EQAO’s own review - which concluded such tests don’t contribute to improved student learning - has mysteriously disappeared from the EQAO website.

Tomorrow, with only 4 days notice, 1000s of TCs & new teachers will attempt to register for the MPT. Most new teach. don’t know about it. No email from OCT to inform newly cert. teachers who are already teaching. The Min. quietly updated the MPT site and assumed that was enough

I got called “mom” by three different students today. I think that’s a record

Today I was reading a story about signs of spring and it said “spring looks like wings”, referring to butterflies and birds. One of my students pipes up and says “like honey garlic chicken wings?!” #IsItFridayYet #TheseKidsCrackMeUp

[Miss. T Graham🍎 @MissGraham99]

KRB had a blast exploring in the forest today. We ended our inquiry about snow by having a read aloud outside. Thanks Ms. B for reading to us! @StirlingPS

@MsArial_ @OttCatholicSB so amazing!! Congrats Miss. Arial! You're a superstar!

[Miss. T Graham🍎 @MissGraham99]

@MrWallwork That’s amazing!❤️

[Miss. T Graham🍎 @MissGraham99]

@Sflecce @fordnation good for cancelling EQAO for students K-12 but what about the MPT for teacher candidates? You can’t expect us to gather in a large test centre. It isn’t safe. If you cancel EQAO you need to cancel MPT too. Swallow your pride and make the right decision.

this one was too good not to share🤭

We’ve been learning about fairytales in 1/2/3 and we’ve got some issues with the big bad wolf so we wrote him some letters!!
