Rancho de las Cabras, Goat Ranch, outside Floresville was an outpost that served Mission San Francisco de la Espada in San Antonio (@MissionsNPS). Livestock from the ranch—goats as well as sheep & cattle—fed the people who lived & worked at the mission.

Today, the CDC moved Bexar County into the "high risk" category for level of transmission of COVID-19. Effective Friday July 1st face masks are required inside all park buildings. This will be in effect until the county is no longer in the “high” level of transmission.
