The truckers I’m cheering for are the 85% at work and vaccinated to keep their communities functioning and safe.
They know their important role is vital to keep our hard working frontline nurses, teachers, store clerks and all other employees with supplies to do their jobs.
Good morning to everyone but especially teachers who are teaching classes ⅓ full due to Covid and will have to teach most of it all over again to the missing students in the future. All because we decided to let the virus rip through our school system.

Why can I teach a class full of grade 7s all day with no issues, but when I book an appointment over the phone with an adult receptionist I respond to “goodbye” with “thanks, you too!” 🤦🏻♀️😅
Remember when people would cheer/bang on their pots and pans in the evenings to celebrate our healthcare workers? Seeing all of the anti-vaxx protests breaks my heart. I can’t imagine how non-stop awful this pandemic has been for HCW.
Protesting by hurling insults, swearing, and loudly yelling at any politician at any level is not the answer for a better country Canada. Let’s be better.
Life isn’t easy. We’re especially reminded of that when we’re in the middle of a hard season. Now listen up, don't ever judge your worth, capacity, or competency during a hard season.
What matters the most when we’re facing challenging times is who we surround ourselves with.
