My Year 6 class have come back from lockdown with a real Year 6 attitude and thinking they’re too cool for primary school now. I want to bring some fun and ‘childish’ activities back into the classroom so they can be like children again. Any good ideas? 💡💭
The children will be so happy to be back in school tomorrow, seeing their friends and teachers again. Focus on that and be grateful to be together again. Don’t let next week be all about what’s been lost and catching up. We got this 👊🏼
We’ve been reading Cogheart in my Year 6 class over the last 2 weeks and I can’t wait to have the whole class in to read it properly together from tomorrow @peterbunzl
Trying to give my Year 6s some transition in these circumstances before going to secondary school. They came up with the idea of having their own individual timetables from next week to get used to following one and being more independent #year6#secondary#transition#edutwitter
Has anyone got ideas of activities I can do with my Year 6s next week related to the Black Lives Matter movement and racism? #edutwitter#education#BlackLivesMatter
‘We’ll be doing a whole load a catch up over the summer and Gavin Williamson will announce next week more details of the catch-up programme’, says PM #downingstreetbriefings#schoolreopeninguk
My goodness.. there it is again! 😩Teachers don’t work at weekends.. work 9-3, 5 days a week.. schools should be open weekends!!! 🤯 I think you’ll find teachers work around the clock most days, including weekends! Sick of the constant teacher bashing! 😩😤🤬 #Lorraine
I am very nervous about Reception and Year 1 coming back to school in the first stages. I’d like to see MPs trying to get 5 year olds to socially distance.
