While volunteering in kindergarten I had such a fun time creating this Pumpkin Shop at the dramatic play centre for some kiddos to enjoy! Watching them create their own $10,000 bills had to be my favourite part!
While volunteering in a kindergarten class in October, the students had brought in their “signs of fall” to share with the class. What better way to display them then making a exploration table for them to enjoy! 🍁🍂
What an awesome year it has been with @EY_uwindsor I can’t believe how fast it went by! Wishing everyone the best luck in their final placement and future endeavours!📚✏️🥳
What an amazing day we had during the Early Years Carousel! It was so awesome to see all the smiles on children’s faces (and parents) while creating these fun and yummy caterpillar creations! 🐛🍓 @MissPimentel_@MsWilson_18 @EY_uwindsor
During an LSTplacement I had the privilege to watch Haggerty be taught! What has everyone’s experience been with the Science or Reading? How does this type of learning differ from when you were in elementary school? @MissPimentel_@MsWilson_18@missrusso1260
TVO Learn is such a great resource to use when teaching any subject! I was introduced to this super helpful website during my last placement in grade 5/6. I found so many awesome math resources that greatly enhanced all my addition and subtraction lessons!✏️
@thismomloves@SoniaCabell@tricia_zucker Just ordered this book! I had a great experience learning so much about the science of reading during my kindergarten placement and can’t wait to further my knowledge! 📚
Why you need this book:
“…increasing conversation turns reduced initial disparities in vocabulary skills between students who were experiencing poverty and students who were not…Strive-for-Five can…level the playing field for all children, regardless of economic background.”
