I made a mistake this week. Then I owned it and worked toward a solution.
Leadership isn’t about doing everything right. Sometimes leadership is about admitting when you weren’t right. #multiplyexcellence
Haggerty is such a great resource! While on my placement I had the opportunity to use UFLI. UFLI is another great resource that focuses on the science or reading!

During an LSTplacement I had the privilege to watch Haggerty be taught! What has everyone’s experience been with the Science or Reading? How does this type of learning differ from when you were in elementary school? @MissPimentel_@MsWilson_18@missrusso1260
Last semester I had the opportunity to return to my practicum class for volunteering. This day we made holiday cards for the local nursing homes. Paired with A Little Spot of Giving, this was a perfect way to teach about selfless acts of kindness

This is such an amazing activity! I love how the students were able to use loose parts to create themselves. You can see their personalities shine through!

Today was a special day at our school. It was Identity Day! Many of our students created loose parts self-portraits after reading I Like Myself. We discussed all the parts of ourselves that we love.❤️
We have been trying out some new ways to practice our new skills every week. We loved the online UFLI games and adding cars to our Roll and Read! Small group fun. @CityFalcons@gecdsbpro
During my time in a kindergarten classroom we began an inquiry on hibernation. One student inspired this idea by creating a cave out of loose parts. To end our inquiry we made caves for our bears using materials around the classroom!
