@NianticHelp I put through two support requests through the app to say I didn't get an encounter at the end of the primal Kyogre raid, but they replied both times with they found no issue ☹️. Used my coins up on a remote raid pass to do that one raid of the day, so really disappointed!

Eventful week! Welcoming new teachers at our New Staff Induction on Tuesday, Pinewood Studios for Buckinghamshire School Awards on Wednesday, NPQ Consolidation Conference at Langley Grammar on Thursday, and Geography Fieldtrip down at the Rye with my lovely students on Friday!

On Wednesday night, myself and Mrs Chandler attended the Buckinghamshire School Awards at Pinewood Studios. Mrs Chandler had been nominated for "New teacher of the year" and she reached the top 3 finalists! I'm so proud to have been part of the first few years of her career.

@MsB_Geography You'll never know everything, it's not possible. Set boundaries and expectations with them (they should be doing far more than you!). Coach them, use experts in the school/external CPD. You'll be fab because you care. Have fun with it, Mentors learn lots too 😁

@MissJackson4PE @MrTs_NQTs It's ok to be "good enough". ECTs are still at the beginning of their journey so cannot be perfect. Do prep for the first 2 weeks if poss, e.g. know what topics you're teaching to which year groups. Each year the teaching gets easier. It'll be challenging but rewarding!
