Today is a shameful day in Ontario’s history.

MPP Sarah Jama (@SarahJama_ ) was asked to leave the legislature for wearing the #Palestinian keffiyah scarf.

The keffiyah is currently banned inside the #Ontario legislature.

This is anti-Palestinian racism. The keffiyah is a symbol of Palestinian cultural identity.

The ban must be lifted by Speaker Ted Arnott (@MPPArnottWHH) now.
