Macron names conditions for sending Western troops to Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron has not ruled out the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine if Russia manages to break through the frontline and Kyiv makes a corresponding request.

The main task facing the West now is to prevent Moscow from defeating Kyiv, because then the Russian army could invade other European countries as well, Macron emphasized.

"We have undoubtedly been too indecisive in defining the limits of our actions for someone who no longer has them and who is the aggressor," he said in an interview with The Economist.
